Hi! I'm Mr. Christensen (Mr. C) and I love the field of teaching. After spending several years in the world of Healthcare, Marketing & Public Relations, I decided to go back to school and pursue a more exciting career for myself. I always wanted to be a teacher growing up, and came to the conclusion that teaching felt like the right fit for me a few years ago. I went back to college and received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Westminster in December of 2009. I began my career at Philo T. Farnsworth Elementary, then taught at Robert Frost, after that I moved to Elk Run, and now I am happy to be a part of the Diamond Ridge family. I have always taught third grade and think they are the most exciting group in terms of curriculum and age.
I am from Woods Cross, Utah and come from a family of six. I have three brothers and no sisters. I had an English Cocker Spaniel named Serena who used to dominate my household. She was such an important part of my life, and now to honor her, we have our own version of her as a classroom pet. I also have a Scottish Terrier named Halston who is also one of our classroom pets. I enjoy reading, music, art, theater, dancing, going to the movies, and hanging out with my friends and family.

Our Favorite Activities: We like to do the normal doggy stuff, you know... run, fetch, jump, bite, rule the house...but we mostly love to chew! Some of our favorite things to tear up are bags, hats, shoes and we both LOVE to snoop in purses, or eat any kind of paper lying around. We also like to go on walks and play fetch now and then, but that gets old pretty fast. We have TONS of toys, but get bored with them pretty easily as well, so we are always looking for something new and exciting to play with.

Our Favorite Place To Sleep: Under the bed is nice, or on top of my dad's head.

Our Favorite Stores: Petsmart, Petco, anything with "Pet" in the tiltle.
Our Favorite Toys: The stuffed squirrel & tennis ball trapped inside the ball is pretty fun.
Our Favorite Snack: All treats. We are total foodies.
Our Favorite TV Show: We don't watch television, unless a dog barks or a doorbell rings.
Our Favorite Vacation: Yellowstone National Park for Serena, the Oregon Coast for Halston.
